I’m pleased to announce the release of two new songs to close out 2024. Working with guitarist/producer Andre Maquera of West Street Digital (@wsd_andre) was one of the most gratifying studio experiences I’ve had so far. And drummer, Caleb Bronz is a gem of a drummer, solid as a rock (www.calebbronz.com). These two releases give a taste of what’s to come and I can hardly wait. ’Maybe it’ll rain’ was written in 2022 and promptly buried under a pile of new songs that have yet to be recorded. I rediscovered it a few months ago. ’One breath at a time’ was written for anyone who is suffering hardship or grief, inspired by my own desperate need to find consolation for the inconsolable when our family experienced three unexpected, tragic losses in nine months.
These two songs will be downloadable from my website for free, if you join my private email list, until they hit major streaming platforms in about a week or two, early in Jan 2025.
Once again, I’m deeply grateful to my patient email list friends and Instagram followers who occasionally reach out to see what I’m up to. I don't email or post often because I know how it feels to get too much of anything. My goal is to release 12 new songs in 2025 so let’s see if I can rise to my own challenge.
