Story: This is the first song I sang to my first child in 2003. At the time, he had colic and would cry for hours and I didn't know what else to do. So I cried along with him and sang this like a mantra. Since it was the first lullaby I ever wrote, I chose to put it first on the album for sentimental reasons... besides, its absolute simpliity has classic appeal... maybe some famous jazz singer will render it timeless one day.
